We’re excited to announce the opening of our EzyMart store at Melbourne’s iconic State Library Station, bringing the EzyMart experience to one of the city’s most recognisable cultural and transport precincts. At EzyMart, we see every challenge as an opportunity to create something exceptional, and this latest Victorian opening is a perfect example. At just 39.5 square metres, it is one of our smallest stores in size, yet one of our most ambitious projects in terms of design, planning and execution.
Located within one of Melbourne’s most prominent modern transport destinations, the store presented a unique set of challenges. Every detail required careful consideration, from materials and colour selection to store layout and customer flow. The biggest challenge, however, was finding a way to showcase EzyMart’s extensive product range within a compact footprint, while still delivering the variety, convenience and experience our customers know and love.
With the project’s significance and high-profile location in mind, our founder, played a key role in guiding the development. Drawing on his extensive experience overseeing the opening of more than 500 stores, he worked closely with the team, the Victorian Government and key stakeholders to bring the vision to life. Even with decades of retail experience behind him, the scale of the challenge pushed the team to rethink what was possible within such a small space. Through collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to excellence, the result exceeded expectations. Today, EzyMart State Library Station has become one of our busiest stores and a favourite among customers, demonstrating that great retail experiences are not defined by size, but by thoughtful design, the right product mix and a strong understanding of customer needs.
We’re proud to add this exciting new location to the EzyMart network and look forward to continuing to deliver convenient, memorable shopping experiences across Victoria and Australia.
